The temperature control device for dry-type transformers comprises a microcontroller, an AD conversion circuit unit connected to the microcontroller, an RS‑485 communication unit, a GPRS wireless communication unit, a display unit, relays, and a voltage regulation circuit unit. Specifically, the AD conversion circuit unit is connected to a signal conditioning circuit unit, which in turn is connected to thermistors mounted on each winding of the transformer; the voltage regulation circuit unit is connected to a rectifier circuit unit, which is linked to the power supply unit; and the relays are connected to the cooling fans. This utility model enables real-time monitoring of the winding temperatures of dry-type transformers, features a simple and reliable structure, and incorporates both serial and wireless communication capabilities. It not only offers high measurement accuracy but also exhibits robust reliability, making it widely applicable to various types of dry-type transformers.
In dry-type transformers, an NTC temperature sensor is used for temperature control. Its primary function is to monitor and detect the temperature, ensuring it does not exceed a set threshold.
