Today, as China is comprehensively building a moderately prosperous society, private cars have become the standard mode of transportation for households. While traditional gasoline-powered cars were once the norm, newly launched new-energy and electric vehicles are now in high demand.
An electric passenger car is a vehicle powered by an on-board energy source and propelled by an electric motor, fully compliant with all road traffic and safety regulations. Electric vehicles can also take advantage of surplus electricity during off-peak nighttime hours to recharge, ensuring that power-generation facilities operate at full capacity around the clock and significantly enhancing their economic efficiency. Moreover, they produce no harmful emissions into the atmosphere, substantially reduce other pollutants, and pose less risk to human health. In addition, power plants are stationary and concentrate their emissions, making it easier to control and mitigate various harmful pollutants.
Temperature control for the air conditioning system in electric sedans, monitoring of engine coolant temperature, and components used in central door-locking systems, sunroofs, seat‑adjustment mechanisms, windshield wipers, and more—these all rely on NTC thermistors (pictured below).
