In lithium‑battery systems, temperature monitoring is an essential component. By using an external temperature sensor to continuously track the battery’s ambient temperature, we can develop a program for NTC thermistors. This enables us to design NTC‑based temperature‑sensing applications, select appropriate temperature ranges for specific use cases, and choose suitable components for battery‑monitoring applications. In this instance, we have selected a 6‑to‑4‑point ring‑type temperature sensor (Figure 1), which allows us to obtain accurate real‑time temperature readings via the NTC thermistor.
