Today’s medical devices are becoming increasingly sophisticated, with a growing reliance on electronic components. Temperature control has also improved significantly, and NTC thermistors are widely used to sense, monitor, and calibrate temperature in many applications.

Products in the NTC family—such as NTC thermistors, temperature sensors, and temperature probes—are manufactured to deliver high precision, exceptional reliability, and outstanding stability. Today, we’d like to introduce a high‑precision NTC thermistor for medical body‑temperature measurement.

This NTC thermistor, when paired with an appropriate housing and affixed to the skin surface using medical adhesive tape, enables long-term, repeated measurement of human skin temperature.

Working principle:

Use a microcontroller to acquire the ADC values from these contact points, then convert these values into corresponding temperature readings. After the MCU collects these temperature measurements, it transmits them to a computer via USB for display. The resistance of an NTC thermistor exhibits a linear relationship with temperature, decreasing as temperature rises (negative temperature coefficient).
