MF58 Series Glass‑Encapsulated NTC Thermistors: Features and Application Range:
Temperature monitoring and compensation for automated office equipment, such as copiers and printers.
Telecommunications industry applications: used for temperature measurement, compensation, control, and protection in devices such as mobile phones, battery packs, and battery chargers.
Glass‑encapsulated NTC thermistors can also be used for temperature measurement, monitoring, detection, and control in medical devices, food‑processing equipment, climate‑control systems, and more.
In-home electronic temperature measurement, sensing, and control applications: such as air conditioners, microwave ovens, electric fans, electric heaters, rice cookers, induction cookers, hair dryers, and more.
In heating and air conditioning (HVAC): in heating cost allocators, for room‑temperature monitoring; in underfloor heating systems and gas boilers, to measure flue‑gas or burner temperatures; and as outdoor temperature sensors.
Industrial electronic applications: used for temperature stabilization of laser diodes and optoelectronic components, for temperature compensation of copper coils, or for reference‑point compensation in thermocouple elements, among other uses. Additionally, it is employed in instrumentation and measurement devices for temperature sensing and compensation, as well as in integrated circuits, quartz crystal oscillators, and thermocouples.
Both of these NTC thermistors have operating temperatures ranging from 250 to 350 degrees Celsius, making them suitable for high-temperature applications.
