In agriculture, it is employed for bacterial cultivation, serum thawing, test‑tube sterilization, and more. The incubator’s structure primarily comprises a sheet‑metal cabinet, a refrigeration system, a heating system, a humidification system, an air‑circulation system, and a control system.
What role does the temperature sensor play in this?
The temperature sensor is connected to the PLC to continuously monitor the temperature inside the incubator and transmit the data to the PLC. The sensing element of the temperature probe is positioned in the air within the incubator, ensuring it does not come into contact with any objects or the chamber walls. It provides real-time temperature monitoring. On the control panel, users can set the desired temperature range for the incubator by specifying upper and lower limits. When the probe detects a temperature below the lower limit, the heating fan is activated to raise the temperature; conversely, if the temperature exceeds the upper limit, the refrigeration compressor is engaged to lower it.
